"When you're about to take a test make sure you relax, take a deep breath, and remind yourself it is just a test and you have been doing it all year or month. All a test is a homework sheet with all the studies you have learned. So make sure you are calm and relaxed. Then you will know that you can finish it."

"When I am studying a textbook, I analyze every word according to the meaning of the word. When I find some special word, and I do not know the meaning, I try to find it in a dictionary of special words. According to the syntax of the sentences I identify a sense of the words. Every word is a little stone of mosaic of knowledge. Every word can be visualized as a small picture or symbol which we can tag together to form the main complex picture or scheme of objects (nouns), activities (verbs), properties (adverbs and adjectives) and relations (prepositions and conjunctions)."

"When you are taking a test try not to daydream. Always stay focused by thinking of what the answers are and by reading the directions over and over again so that you clearly understand what the teacher may expect of you. You also want to think of the time you have for each question so that you may not feel overwhelmed by how many problems you may have to do at the end if you keep spending a lot of time on the harder problems. Try to do all the ones you know first and always save the harder ones for last! If you double check your answers then you may find corrections that you may have to make that you may not have noticed earlier in the test!"

"When you prepare to take a test or quiz, my study tip is to study about thirty minutes to one hour every single day. I usually read over my notes and study my vocabulary if needed. If you are stuck on how you can study, you can always count on how-to-study.com. Remember my tip: study at least thirty minutes to one hour each day and you will do swell and your mind won't be filled with anxiety and worry, but will be tranquil, placid, and serene."

"Make a study timetable for after-school hours. Make sure to include free time and favourite tv shows, social things and sporting commitments to make it easier to stick to. I find it gets your parents off your back when you show them the timetable so they don't nag you to study all the time!"

"I study my lessons three times. First is to scan, just do a light reading. Second is to understand what I am reading. Lastly, to memorize and familiarize my lessons. I also budget my time wisely. For example, I'll make a schedule for the week on what to do and put a time frame, so that I can keep track of it. I make a point that I always have chocolate whenever I study because it contains glucose which is the so called"food for the brain" and it contains caffeine - same as coffee that acts as a stimulator."

"Set up a reward program. Say if you like to play games, then be like if I get a B on this test then I will play games for an hour or so. Make sure it's realistic! Most importantly know were you are headed in the future. If you have an aim in life you tend to work harder at trying to achieve that."

"You've read more than enough study tips now. You already know most of them don't you - really you're just procrastinating! The longer you put it off, the worse it'll be. Get off the computer right now and start with 10 minutes studying. Concentrate hard in those 10 minutes, and then take a break to get a drink and a bite to eat. Go back to your work and keep going 20 min this time, then another break. Keep on like this, adding another 10 minutes each time until you reach 50 minutes. Just get all your work done. GO. Stop wasting time and get to work NOW!"
